We are excited to share that this summer we will be awarding scholarships for children/teens (ages 5-18) to begin or continue their dance training via the in-person or online classes facilitated by a Sonoma County dance studio of their choice. Each Summer 2021 Dance Scholarship will fund 1 class per week for up to 3 months between June - August 2021. Priority will be given to previous SCDU event participants and those not yet enrolled in a dance studio, but everyone is encouraged to apply!
These scholarships are funded through SCDU fundraising efforts.
Eligibility and Requirements
1. Resident of Sonoma County, CA between the age of 5-18 as of Wednesday, May 19th, 2021.
2. Applicant must submit a paragraph up to 200 words expressing, “Why I am applying for this scholarship and its importance to me.”
3. Application via Google Forms submission due by 11:59pm on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021.
Priority will be given to previous SCDU event participants and those not yet enrolled in a dance studio.
*Application deadline: Wednesday, May 19th, 2021.
*Applicants will be notified of the decision by Friday, May 21st, 2021.
