We are excited to share that this Spring 2022 we will be awarding scholarships for children/teens (ages 5-18) to begin or continue their dance training at a Sonoma County dance studio of their choice!
Each Spring 2022 Dance Scholarship will include: - Tuition for one dance class per week for up to 5 months at the recipient’s selected Sonoma County dance studio; - Performance costume fee; and - Dance studio registration fee.
These scholarships are funded through SCDU fundraising efforts.
Eligibility and Requirements
1. Resident of Sonoma County, CA between the age of 5-18 as of Wednesday, December 15th, 2021.
2. Applicant must submit a paragraph up to 200 words expressing, “Why I am applying for this scholarship and its importance to me.”
3. Application via Google Forms submission due by 11:59pm on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, December 15th, 2021. Applicants will be notified of the decision by Monday, December 20th, 2021.
Priority will be given to previous attendees of SCDU events and those not currently enrolled at a dance studio, but everyone is encouraged to apply!
